Looking back on a fantastic week in London! We started off with our 4th annual Dutch Happy Hour organized together with ETOA - European tourism association and NBTC | Nederlands Bureau voor Toerisme & Congressen in De Hems Dutch Cafe Bar, followed by attending #GEM24 workshop where we not only have spoken about the wonderful things the Netherlands has to offer, but also announced our next yearly FAM-tip to the Veluwe region from 5-7 February 2025. Travel Trade Holland Foundation: The Netherlands at its best! The Travel Trade Holland Foundation is an organization that was born in the middle of the corona crisis of 2020, a low point for the tourism sector in the Netherlands and worldwide. To help the entire sector get going again as soon as the measures are released and the borders are allowed to open again, the Travel Trade Holland Foundation will be ready to promote the Netherlands as a destination worldwide! Because let's face it, isn't this country much too beautiful to keep to ourselves…? The Netherlands is a great country with a rich history, unique features and a great attraction for its inhabitants, but also for (inter)national tourists! In order to allow this tourist to return to the Netherlands in the period after the current corona crisis, the Travel Trade Holland Foundation focuses on the marketing and promotion of the Netherlands in the broadest sense of the word. This is done through newsletters, social media promotion, network sessions, workshops, fam trips and, at a later stage, sales missions and trade fair visits. As long as the corona measures are in force and some activities cannot take place 'live', they will be organized online as much as possible. We will start with promotion aimed at parties in Germany, Belgium, UK and France. At a later stage we will expand this to other European markets, but also intercontinental markets such as America and Asia. Together we will put the Netherlands back on the world map! Op uitnodiging van MKB-Nederland en VNO-NCW zijn Linda Barnhoorn-van Delft en Lies (Elisabeth) Boelrijk vandaag op Prinsjesdag, aanwezig bij de gezamenlijke bijeenkomst met de aangesloten brancheorganisaties om de plannen van het kabinet te bespreken. De plannen van ons nieuwe kabinet hebben invloed op de bedrijfsvoering van al onze partners en wij informeren hen graag over wat de plannen betekenen en wat het belang is om in gesprek te blijven met de verschillende brancheorganisaties. Maar Prinsjesdag is natuurlijk niet compleet zonder even buiten te kijken om een glimp van onze koninklijke familie op te vangen.

Sometimes it is nice to explore regions just for fun! Today was one of these days 😃 We hosted an event together with our partner Merk Fryslân at Zeilschool de Twirre. We were welcomed with a great lunch, followed by an e-chopper tour and open boat cruise along the “De Alde Feanen” National park. Thank you Enno Lieder for a great day!
