EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES, GROWING FORESTS | MLR Forestal, Nicaragua We believe that reforestation projects can do more than restore nature—they can transform lives. Our MLR Forestal project in Nicaragua is a good example, combining environmental restoration with meaningful community impact. 👍 This project provides 700 quality jobs annually, prioritizing fair wages, permanent employment, and improved living conditions for workers. 🤝 Strong relationships with local and indigenous communities ensure respectful collaboration and shared benefits. 🫂 Community engagement is central to MLR Forestal’s mission. Through environmental education programs like “green classrooms,” local schools are actively involved in learning about sustainability, fostering a deeper connection to their natural surroundings. As Luis Lopez, Sustainable Development Manager, explains: “The most tangible contribution I see is in environmental education. We teach communities to care for their environment, which improves not just the land but also the quality of life for everyone involved.” Contact us to explore opportunities for supporting this impactful project through carbon credit purchases! #CarbonCreditsWork #SocialImpact #Reforestation #CommunityDevelopment #Sustainability

Much has been written and much remains to be done. But this weekend headline from Carbon Pulse sums it up nicely. More importantly, the operationalisation and scale of the carbon markets is a momentous win for the climate. And now we gotta go. In less than the time taken to negotiate and fully operationalise Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, NASA's #Artemis program will have: - been conceived, planned and funded - delivered astronauts to the moon. The time for delay is over. If you are a company, or a country, the only ethical course of action now is to #ReduceAndInvest, every tonne, every time. No excuses, no exceptions.

TREEVIVE | Investments in bankable forest landscape projects with lasting impacts 🌳 At Treevive, we are dedicated to expanding and protecting tropical forest landscapes while increasing much-needed financial resources for their conservation. Despite their immense potential to mitigate climate change and halt biodiversity loss, tropical forests remain underfunded and undervalued. 💹 As an impact-driven company, our goal is to conserve, restore, and sustainably manage two million hectares of tropical forest landscapes by 2030. We bridge the gap between projects in need of financial solutions and investors seeking high-quality, bankable opportunities to fulfill their biodiversity and carbon commitments. 🐗 We provide project owners with essential funding and technical assistance to accelerate the development of their carbon assets. Additionally, we market the results of these projects—highlighting their biodiversity benefits and positive impacts on local communities—by offering high-quality forest carbon credits to companies looking to offset their unavoidable CO₂ emissions. 💱 Treevive operates as a revolving structure, where the profits generated from carbon credits flow back to fund new forest projects, ensuring a sustainable cycle of conservation and financial growth. Join us in our mission to create a more sustainable future! https://treevive.earth/ #Treevive #TropicalForests #ClimateChange #Biodiversity #SustainableDevelopment

🌍 EMISSIONS GAP REPORT 2024 | The call for urgent action on forest landscapes The latest Emissions Gap Report from UNEP-WCMC highlights an urgent reality: without drastically stronger ambition and immediate action, we are on track to overshoot the 1.5°C global warming target within just a few years. 🌱 🌴 Tropical forests play a crucial role here, offering some of the most cost-effective, high-potential solutions to reduce emissions. Protecting these ecosystems is not only essential to fight climate change but also critical for halting biodiversity loss and supporting local communities. Yet, despite their immense value, tropical forest landscapes remain underfunded and undervalued. 💹 At Treevive, we are committed to bridging this funding gap by connecting high-quality tropical forest projects with investors looking for impactful, bankable projects to meet their carbon and biodiversity commitments. Our goal is to help conserve, restore, and sustainably manage two million hectares of tropical forests by 2030. With increased support from public and private sectors, we can unlock the full mitigation potential of tropical forest landscapes and bring global targets within reach. 🔗 Link to the report: https://lnkd.in/eN68Wmwp #EmissionsGapReport2024 #ClimateAction #ForestsMatter #NatureBasedSolutions #Treevive
