🔥 Delft was well-represented at the Slush start-up & tech event in Helsinki! All thanks to the extremely capable 4TU.Federation team and the Delft-based start-ups participating in this year's Dutch 200+ strong delegation, among them Villari, Magneto, OASYS NOW AIM Solutions and Fluxthor. Cherry on top was Oasys Now winning the Slush 100 Startup Competition and heading home with a fresh €1,000,000 in funding. 🏆 🧡 Slush remains a one-of-a-kind experience in 2024, with over 13.000 participants, more than 5000 start-up founders and entrepreneurs and 3300 investors. 🏆 Congratulations OASYS NOW! The Delft-based start-up and YES!Delft resident just won the Slush 100 Startup Competition. On stage in the packed Helsinki Convention Center, Nima Salami convinced the jury and audience with a strong, personal and enthusiastic pitch. Oasys Now goes home with the prize:  €1,000,000 in funding. 👩🏽⚕️ Oasys Now is developing an AI-powered personalized health platform to help hospitals, doctors and patients figure out correct treatments faster by matching them to clinical trials. They also aim to speed up patient recruitment and safely manage date insights through a network of healthcare professionals and industry partners. It has developed the first portable menstrual cup cleaner, which helps end period poverty sustainably with our innovative portable menstrual cup cleaner. Lennart Zielstra is a co-founder of Zmobility (formerly called Zeal Mobility). The company is developing the Rise AFO, a revolutionary ankle-foot orthosis that allows for a comfortable walking pattern through a flexible and lightweight design while still supporting the user's ankle. Melchior Krijgsman is a co-founder of Entropic (formerly called Geotherm Electric). Entropic offers an end-to-end project development platform for heat decarbonisation. It integrates an AI-powered engineering module, trusted supplier marketplace and project management environment, simplifying the process from opportunity analysis to project execution. Esmee Fransen, student entrepreneurship champion and co-organiser of the Impact Contest, will join the panel as an industry expert. Sarah Alonso Vega, superstar host and curiosity expert, will chair the panel. As usual, at Delft Startup Night, there will also be an interactive audience challenge.
