Stoked to share this 💪🤩🎙️ We made 2 podcast episodes with Diageo, featuring the incredible Deb Caldow (Ralls) the awe inspiring Clover Hogan and the impressive Adam Morgan, debating the role of marketing in the climate crisis and what brands can do. The episodes are brimming with practical advice and examples to guide marketeers on their sustainability journey 😏 Have a listen: https://lnkd.in/e3vPg-tK You see at Tuulee, we are on a mission to accelerate the sustainability movement by helping brands on their transformational journeys, so we couldn’t be prouder of this work. Initially born as an internal initiative of a training program for marketeers at Diageo, the project has grown with the ambition to inspire teams at other organisations – hopefully nudging more brands to develop their sustainability journey. My first podcast - with Brand Building Legend Adam Morgan and Inspirational Climate Activist Clover Hogan. Across 2 x 15 min episodes, we debate the role can Marketing play in realizing growth that is positive for planet and people, and what it means to be in brand management during a Climate Crisis. Episode 1 now live, and Episode 2 will go live early next week: https://lnkd.in/e3vPg-tK We initially recorded these for internal inspiration (as part of our Diageo Sustainable Marketing transformation programme) and launched them in January this year. They've gone down well - so ahead of Climate Week we thought we would share them publicly; in the hope it might inspire and give energy to others. At Diageo, we are making progress on reframing this existential challenge into an opportunity for Marketing to be at the forefront of the change required. It’s progress over perfection – but we HAVE to take steps forward and find the Triple Win*. There’s no silver bullet, but we can’t wait to have all the answers. We must move from talk, to action. For all you marketers and innovators working at the intersection of Sustainability and brand building – we are inspired by you, thank you, and keep going! Enjoy! (*Triple Win – at Diageo we define this as programmes that are good for planet, people and profit). Special mention from Adam to Niclas Nordstrom - who inspired his references to Swedish brands, and Colin Kelly, who originally came up with the fantastic ‘Can if’ idea. And another shout out from me to the wonderful Annalisa Tedeschi and team at Tuulee and Ally Lang @maplestreetcreative who made this happen
