Yesterday, we had an inspiring and meaningful discussion with fellow entrepreneurs Emilita Zizi Fernandes and Marcel Hielkema about the challenges of social and inclusive entrepreneurship during ‘125 Years of Entrepreneurship for the Netherlands,’ an event organized by VNO-NCW to celebrate their 125th anniversary. Our CEO, Ton Goedmakers, had the privilege of sharing Vebego’s vision while also listening to valuable insights from the sector – and even from His Majesty King Willem-Alexander.   The King’s engagement and genuine interest were truly inspiring. It was encouraging to see such high-level attention for the obstacles and opportunities we, as social entrepreneurs, encounter daily. Together, we continue to push for impactful solutions, like reforming the benefits system and creating more room for good employment practices. The TeamNL Men had a tough European Championship. 🥌 Unfortunately, they were relegated to the B-Division and didn’t qualify for the World Championships. However, we’re proud of their teamwork! They now focus on their next goals: earning promotion back to the A-Division and qualifying for the 2026 Olympics through the OQT. TeamNL, keep going! We’re behind you! 💜 #greatwork

The European Curling Championships are here! 🥌 From November 16th to 23rd, top athletes will take to the ice for an exciting week of competition. Our men’s team will compete in the A-Division, aiming for qualification at the World Curling Championships, while our women’s team showcases their talent in the B-Division. 🏅 TeamNL Curling heads to the European Championship 2024, taking the next step towards their Olympic dream!   From November 16 to 23, the men’s team will compete in Lohja (Finland) aiming for the European title and a place in the World Championship in Canada next March. Strong results there could bring them closer to an Olympic spot!   Meanwhile, the women’s team heads to Östersund (Sweden) to compete in the B-division - having earned promotion last year.
