VIRAA Care, a Chandigarh-based health-tech startup, has raised $108,000 in a pre-seed funding round from European angel investors. Earlier this year, they raised $100,000 in the same funding round in January 2024. This new capital will be used to pursue international expansion and enhance its live courses on infant and pediatric nutrition, aimed at providing parents with expert guidance on fresh, nutrient-dense foods. Co-founded in 2023 by Sonal Babbar-Bhardwaj and Mayank Bhardwaj, Viraa Care offers online courses covering topics such as breastfeeding, introducing real food to infants, and addressing picky eating. The platform has already supported over 500 families in the US and India, with a remarkable 2x month-on-month growth in its customer base.
