VTTI celebrates 10 years in Cyprus 🎉 A vital part of our network is VTTI Cyprus (also known as VTTV), strategically positioned in the Eastern Mediterranean as one of the first and largest energy storage and distribution terminals in the region.  This week, the terminal is celebrating 10 years of operations together with its customers, partners, and authorities. From the time it was built and till now, it has been the largest foreign direct investment for the energy sector in the country.  “As we move forward, we remain committed to sustainable energy solutions that not only support the local market but also across the Mediterranean and surrounding regions. By adhering to stringent environmental practices, including our investment in renewable energy initiatives, we aim to lead by example in responsible and sustainable energy management,” – says Thanos Patrikis, General Manager of VTTI in Cyprus and Vice President of the Mediterranean region for VTTI. 🎉 Celebrating Teamwork in the UAE! Congratulations to the VTTI Fujairah (FTL) team for winning the Coolest Team Award at this year's Hercules Trophy Dubai – an intercompany team-building event held across 10 global locations.   Senior Terminal Operator and Captain of the team, Shafeeq Puthuparambil, shared: “Winning The Coolest Team Award and landing in the Top 10 of the team-building competition was an incredible achievement. On behalf of the VTTI Fujairah team, I would like to thank everyone for their support in the recent Hercules Trophy Dubai. VTTI and Connex’s Greenstock Pretreatment Facility (GPF) project will provide fully integrated industrial infrastructure for renewable waste and residues handling and cleaning, effectively bridging the gap between supply and demand. Terminal visit: VTTI in Panama (PATSA)   VTTI Panama, also known as PATSA, is an independent regional terminal company, strategically located at the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal. The terminal comprises three facilities: marine facilities at the Balboa Port with two private jetties, and two tank farms with a combined capacity of 1.5m bbl or 246k cbm for storage of a wide range of refined products. The terminal plays a key role in serving domestic and international markets, such as shipping, aviation, power generation, road transportation, and more. EPCA 2024, themed "The Power of Action," provided a great platform for members of our team (pictured below) to engage in meaningful discussions with customers and industry peers. 𝗩𝗧𝗧𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘅 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗺. VTTI and Connex are joining forces to develop a renewable feedstock or 'Greenstock' Pretreatment Facility (GPF) at VTTI’s terminal in Amsterdam (ETA). 🚢 Innovating for efficiency: Reducing wait times for Suezmax vessels At VTTI Malaysia (ATB), we continuously strive to optimize our operations, particularly in jetty occupancy. After extensive research and analysis, we are now able to safely accommodate Suezmax vessels at three berths. This increase in capacity increases flexibility for our customers. Suezmax vessels are so called because they are the largest vessels that can transit the Suez Canal, and are up to 275 meters in length. ‘’After months of in-depth analysis and close collaboration with the port authority, we are happy to share this news! Paving the way for RNG in Poland!   Our Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) business has a Business Development office in Warsaw, Poland. Recently Reinis Azis, Head of the RNG team in Poland participated in the 2nd Forum of the Polish Biomethane Organization to discuss opportunities and challenges facing the Polish RNG industry. (2nd from right) VTTI recently joined the organization to regularly engage with the local RNG community and to promote the advantages that RNG development can bring to Poland. The event was attended by around 200 participants from 180 companies.   “Poland is a prime location in Europe both in terms of feedstock potential and for for biomethane production. RNG production is not only fundamental for Poland in terms of energy security and increasing the share of renewables in the energy mix, but also for decarbonizing one of the biggest food production and agricultural industries in Europe.
