Wandering the Future

People often ask me, "𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘶𝘴?"  My answer is simple: 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 Countless opportunities lie ahead if we use the right lens and remember that these 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬. Using the right lens means adopting a mindset of 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦. It involves 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. '𝐓𝐨𝐞𝐤𝐨𝐦𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐭 𝐯𝐚𝐤 𝐨𝐩 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧! Toen dit nieuws mij vanochtend bereikte was mijn dag gelijk goed, het belang van toekomst denken in het onderwijs is eindelijk bij hoger hand aangekomen en wordt geïntegreerd in het basisonderwijs, 𝐰𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐯𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐞𝐤𝐨𝐦𝐬𝐭 𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐝. Laten we je maar snel uit deze mooie utopie halen, dit is door ons gegenereerd "𝐟𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬". Maar stel je voor dat dit geen fictieve krantenkop was. Wat zou je reactie zijn? Opwinding? Hoop? Misschien zelfs scepsis? Hoewel dit 'nieuws' (nog) niet echt is, is het opzettelijk gecreëerd om een cruciaal gesprek te starten. In een wereld die dynamischer is dan ooit, met continue veranderingen en nieuwe uitdagingen, is de vaardigheid om vooruit te denken geen luxe meer – het is een noodzaak. De ‘fake news’ kop die je las, was niet bedoeld om je te misleiden, maar om een dialoog te openen over een urgente behoefte. We moeten ons blijven afvragen: 𝐰𝐚𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐢𝐬 '𝐓𝐨𝐞𝐤𝐨𝐦𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐧' 𝐠𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐡𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐢𝐣𝐬𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐦? 🌟 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐆𝐄𝐙𝐎𝐂𝐇𝐓 | 𝐓𝐨𝐞𝐤𝐨𝐦𝐬𝐭 𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐳𝐨𝐫𝐠 Op dit moment ben ik, in samenwerking met Wandering the Future , bezig met mijn afstudeerproject waarin we de toekomst van fertiliteitszorg verkennen. Een urgente kwestie aangezien de 𝐯𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐚𝐫𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧 is en steeds meer mensen geassisteerde voortplanting nodig hebben om hun kinderwens te verwezenlijken. De vraagstukken rondom vruchtbaarheid worden steeds belangrijker in de samenleving, en 𝐝𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐳𝐨𝐫𝐠 𝐳𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞 𝐤𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐣𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧. In a recent trend study we conducted for Airbus, we explored the future landscape of leadership with an aim not just to understand the dynamics of female leadership but to envision a future where leadership transcends gender boundaries altogether. Our research journey took us beyond the confines of industry norms and into a broader spectrum of trends and shifts in leadership perspectives. The most striking revelation was the realization that the concept of "𝐅𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩" 𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.
