It was an inspiring evening of sustainability and innovation in water management. 💧 Introducing Water Footprint Implementation and the Coalition of the Willing The event began with Jaap Feil, our Managing Partner, introducing Water Footprint Implementation’s mission and the Water Footprint Compensation Initiative. This initiative, unveiled at the 10th World Water Forum in Bali, empowers companies and governments to take meaningful action on their water impact. At this year's World Water Forum held in Bali from May 18-25, WFI launched its Water Footprint Compensation initiative—a transformative effort to restore balance in global water systems. This innovative project operates on the principle of “a litre for a litre,” addressing water scarcity and pollution through creative financing mechanisms. 💧 With inspiring solutions like decentralized wastewater treatment and wetland restoration, WFI is building a "Coalition of the Willing" to lead the charge for a water-secure future.
