WeTechRotterdam's aim is to boost the tech ecosystem of Rotterdam. We focus on three pillars: Education, Entrepreneurship and Investment. Education provides the talent (local and international) that is needed to drive entrepreneurship and innovation. Together with educational institutions, government and companies, we are rethinking the entire education system in order to reduce the tech knowledge gap. Investment is the other main driver needed to boost Entrepreneurship. By attracting local and foreign investors and helping them navigate the Rotterdam investment scene, the right and necessary capital funds will help young tech ventures grow to their full potential. The entrepreneurship pillar, supported by talent from one side and investment from the other, focuses on increasing collaboration and knowledge exchange between startups, scaleups, corporates, and partner institutions. Supporting the Rotterdam ecosystem from all angles, WeTech is building Europe’s next tech Powerhouse!
