𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀. 🏷️ A textile product always needs to have a label mentioning the composition and possibly the laundry instructions. Whether the composition on that label information is always correct is doubtful, mainly due to the many different parties involved in the production of a garment. In the coming years, the textile labeling rules will be revised, whereby companies that sell textile products on the European market must indicate the entire production chain in addition to the composition. Being transparent means being able to show what happens to your textiles at every stage of the process.

𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 😃 Together with Zeeman textielSupers, we’ve been busy over the past few months designing a new line. Starting this month, the Wolkat x Zeeman collection, which includes a bag, gilet, and trousers, is available in all stores in the Netherlands and France and online: [LINK]. All the pieces in the collection are made from old textiles, and therefore 100% sustainable. We are proud of this new collection and look forward to selling these items in the stores.

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗹𝗸𝗮𝘁! 🌈 At Wolkat, we only use unique colours in the creation of our products. This is due to our mechanical recycling process. When we sort our textile waste into different colours, this eliminates the need for extra dye, meaning the colour options depend on the source material. This makes our products extremely unique! Curious about our sustainable products? You can view them online: products.wolkat.com.

Thanks to these precise steps, our residual waste rate is an impressive 4%, setting us apart from the competition. This commitment to efficiency not only enhances our recycling process but also underscores our dedication to sustainability. Discover how our approach transforms waste into valuable resources while maintaining a minimal environmental footprint.
