We’re excited to share some early successes from our collaboration with Ampelmann Operations, a leader in motion-compensated gangway systems for the offshore industry. Together our aim is to reduce uncontrolled downtime by integrating #MachineLearning into predictive maintenance.    We’ve developed a classification model that predicts maintenance for battery packs of gangway systems, with 22% accuracy in alarm prediction up to 14 days in advance. Future enhancements are expected to improve the accuracy. We are also assisting Ampelmann in extracting deeper insights from their sensor data, identifying key correlations that improve anomaly detection.    Our ongoing efforts focus on improving data quality for current, voltage, and temperature measurements. This includes adding new data sources, dedicated feature engineering, and algorithmic optimization to refine model accuracy and reliability. The next steps involve deploying the model on real-time data, maintaining it, and updating the model every 2-3 months to continuously align with real-life conditions. Together, we are advancing technology that will drive more reliable and efficient operations, placing both Ampelmann and Yabba Data Doo at the forefront of #maritime innovation. Jari attended our #Hackathon in September, where his exceptional skills and innovative thinking led him to secure a position almost right away! Jari comes to us with a great background in Computer Science, complemented by a minor in Data Analytics. He earned his Bachelor's degree from #RollinsCollege, where he was also an active member of the men’s varsity soccer team.
