YES!Delft is organising a special validation and acceleration programme in collaboration with InnovationQuarter and Municipality of The Hague, specifically designed for cybersecurity startups. This program offers tailored support for startups in the early stages seeking validation or those ready to scale. The program was officially launched yesterday with a kick-off event involving all partners, underscoring each partner’s commitment to fostering innovation in the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity. If we want to make our world more sustainable, we must find a way to stop using gas to heat houses. Heat pumps are currently the golden standard to achieve this, but they are not suitable for older houses that are not insulated and the unit you need to place outside can be loud and unattractive. That is why Tarnoc co-founders Vincent Wijdeveld and Tijmen de Jong decided to develop a different kind of heating system: an electric Turbine Heat Pump, that can heat houses without an outside unit. HIC Unconference and Startup Exhibition were a great success! On November 14th, the HIC - HortiScience Innovation Center - a collaboration of Gemeente Lansingerland, Delphy, Greenhouse Horticulture - Wageningen University & Research, StartLife and YES!Delft - hosted the first Horti Unconference in Bleiswijk. A founder-focused event allowing peer-to-peer learning and sharing experiences. In the afternoon, startups in the Horti sector joined the Horti 🌱 Startup Exhibition, showcasing demos of game-changing solutions for a more sustainable greenhouse.
