Accounts Payable Accountant

Proclinical is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our client's team in Amsterdam. This role focuses on managing accounts payable and general accounting duties, supporting our international operations. The position offers a hybrid work environment, ideal for candidates based in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily transactions on bank accounts and apply receipts to open sales invoices.
• Enter manual sales invoices and prepare accounting entries in the financial system.
• Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with SarbanesOxley 404 by performing key controls accurately.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Collaborate with the corporate accounting team on intercompany invoices and balances.
• Process invoices, ensuring correct coding and timely posting.
• Manage the purchase order system and support monthly VAT filing.
• Assist with vendor purchase orders, weekly check runs, and vendor inquiries.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Experience in accounts payable functions.
• Familiarity with public accounting and the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP accounting software, with NetSuite experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
