Business Controller

As a Business Controller, you play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and success of the Project and Engineering organization. You are responsible for analyzing financial data, monitoring budgets, project control, managing risks, identifying areas for improvement, and providing advice

to management. As a Business Controller, you are the direct sparring partner of the Director Completion and Engineering services.

The business line is involved in completion services (design, engineering, component production, and installation) for VIP and Special Mission aircrafts and provides engineering consultancy services.

The role is based in Woensdrecht, but also requires presence at the Hoofddorp location

every other week.

Key responsibilities:

• As a member of the Management Team of the Completion and Engineering organization, ensure, from a financial perspective, that the organization achieves its goals.
• Ensuring effective project control for completion projects.
• Conducting analyses to provide insight into the financial performance of the company.
• Developing business cases to support management in decisions regarding new projects.
• Preparing financial reports and presenting them to the organization.
• Collaborating with management in decisions regarding new projects and investments.
• Preparing financial reports and presenting them to the organization.
• Collaborating with management to prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Monitoring budgets against actual performance and providing variance analysis to identify areas of concern or opportunity.
• Identifying financial risks and playing a role in managing these.
• Implementing internal controls and procedures to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in financial regulations.

How you are valuable to us:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. RC/CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
• At least 5-10 years experience in a similar role
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills
• Experienced with ERP systems.
• Fluent in English
• Strong Excel skills
