As District Manager (Petrol channel) you will manage and guide a Territory Executives team to grow share of market within the Petrol channel in the Netherlands. As part of the Field Sales Team, you will be building impactful commercial plans for various accounts and will be in close collaboration with the Key Account Team. The District Manager will also be responsible for negotiations with mini-accounts about commercial activities, and roll-out of the PMI Direct Delivery Model within the channel. The role involves leading initiatives that align with company objectives and ensuring the organization’s growth while supporting the team’s expertise and achieving challenging results.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the national field sales strategy and translate this strategy into commercial account plans, objectives and KPI’s for team and retail;
Build account driven commercial plans and be responsible for the roll-out with the sales teams;
Build relations with mini-accounts and agree on concrete activation plans to boost performance (win-win);
Engage with the Key Account, Trade Engagement and Portfolio teams;
Create performance updates and formulate actions for internal and external stakeholders;
Coordinate field execution of the Direct Delivery Model;
Manage your team to optimize the team and individual development, efficiency and results.
Key Requirements
Bachelor or Master commercial degree or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a commercial role.
People connector both with internal stakeholders and clients.
Data-driven, results oriented and continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment;
Strong analytical skills, presentation skills, and leadership skills.
Knowledge on the Dutch retail channel is a plus;
Fluency in English and Dutch is required;
The role involves frequent travel by car within the Netherlands and occasionally towards our Benelux
headquarters based in Antwerp.
