A leading, investment-backed, international Vertical Software and Solutions business is looking to hire a VP Sales..


Headquartered in France and backed by a leading European technology PE investor, our partner designs, develops and markets Software and Solutions, specifically for the very high growth Construction and Civil Engineering market.


They have seen top line growth of 20% per annum for the last 10 years, scaling from €35 million to €150 million in revenue over the last 3 years. As a result of this exceptional organic and acquisitional growth, they are looking to create a new role; VP Sales, based in the Netherlands, reporting to the Group CRO.


You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that align with business objectives. You will lead and manage an international sales team (40+), drive revenue growth, and build strong relationships with clients and partners.


You will develop and execute sales strategies that align with the business objectives. Managing a €40m sales organisation with 40 people across Europe, you will play a key part in the company’s revenue growth by helping your team to build strong relationships with clients and partners.



Key aspects of the role include:

  • Sales strategy development: you will be responsible for creating and implementing effective sales strategies to meet domain’s revenue goals and growth objectives.
  • Team leadership: you will oversee the recruiting, onboarding and managing the domain’s sales team, including setting performance standards, activity KPIs, and monitoring.
  • Revenue Growth: you are responsible for revenue growth, identifying new market opportunities and expanding the customer base.
  • Requirement sales forecasting and planning: develop sales forecasts, budgets, and actions plans to achieve targets
  • Customer relationship management: you will build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, in conjunction with working with the CSM team.
  • Stakeholder engagement: engage with key stakeholders, including the executive team to align sales strategies with overall domain objectives.
  • M&A: you will work closely as required with the M&A department based on due diligence.



Key skills required:

  • Fluency in English and Dutch is essential.
  • A wealth of experience managing and developing large, international teams.
  • Expertise in developing long-term sales strategies that align with company goals.
  • Experience working closely with marketing teams to create cohesive strategies for lead generation and customer engagement.
