In een open brief roepen 64 CEO's en topmanagers van de DigitAll-leden de volgende regering op om van digitale inclusie een echte prioriteit te maken. Ook onze CEO, Jan Schuer, tekende deze brief. Bij Smartschool weten we immers als geen ander hoe belangrijk digitale inclusie is in ons onderwijs.
💥 WAKE-UP CALL 💥 Almost 1 in 2 Belgians is at risk of being digitally excluded. In 2 years there has been an increase in this risk from 40% of all Belgians between 16 and 75 years up to 46%. The digital acceleration, partly caused by the corona crisis, is not being followed by the Belgian population at the same pace. The gap is widening. In all ages and ranks. Striking: digital literacy is also declining among young people. In 2022, 33% of young people aged between 16 and 24 had weak basic digital skills (compared to 21% in 2019). ❗ Help us to raise awareness by liking, sharing, adding a comment and giving a louder voice to the need for digital inclusion!
