Ever wonder what it truly means to support others in their development? 🪜 The 𝗖𝗢𝗔𝗖𝗛 style is all about moving others forward by asking thoughtful questions and offering new perspectives. Every influencing style conveys a message, and this one communicates:  "𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙢𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥!" But truly game-changing coaches don’t just verbally express their intention to guide and support. They communicate that message on many levels. They consider: ✅ The words and language they use, e.g.: “I’m here to support you!” “My door’s always open after 3 pm!” ✅ How they say it: Great coaches give thought to how they deliver that message, e.g., sitting in an open, inviting posture or nodding. ✅ How their listener/teammate will interpret their message, e.g., using examples that will resonate with their coachee ✅ Ways they can make their listener feel supported and guided, both during and after their conversation ✅ What will stick with their teammate after the conversation, e.g., finding out what motivates their coachees and stimulating their thinking Coaching is about 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 those around you to new heights, and making sure others know you will be there on their development journeys.
