𝗦𝗬𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗨𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 - On Monday, 2nd December, the TextielMuseum | TextielLab is organising Threads of Innovation, a symposium celebrating four years of groundbreaking research and development (R&D). Threads of Innovation offers unique insights into the ever-evolving textile landscape, where craftsmanship and technology come together in visionary designs. The day will be moderated by Dieter Van Den Storm (MAD Brussels), who will engage in conversations with industry giants such as studioDRIFT, fashion designer Henrik Vibskov, multidisciplinary artist Otobong Nkanga, and many others! Following the morning’s plenary session, you’ll explore the 'pick-your-programme', where you can create your own schedule. Scattered throughout the museum and TextielLab, you’ll participate in various sessions, demonstrations, and lectures on topics such as sustainability and techniques including weaving, knitting, and passementerie. Don’t forget to visit the exhibitions SHAPE – body, fashion, identity, Secrets of making #4, and the results of the Advanced Textile Program (ATP).
