Last week of September, Paul Barreveld and Anahid Cekem wrapped up a highly successful three-day field trip across the Netherlands with the Clúster Salut Mental Catalunya, exploring opportunities to strengthen partnerships in mental health, elderly and disability care innovation.   Meanwhile, Willem J. van Ommeren had the pleasure of connecting with the industry at some incredible fairs over the past two weeks. It started in Utrecht, where he attended two unique events: Vakbeurs Openbare Ruimte and the World of Industry, Technology & Science. Both showcased inspiring developments in public spaces and cutting-edge technology. And starting October well with a visit at the IoT Tech Expo World Series 2025 in Amsterdam—an absolute tech blast! Patient experience #Innovation, historical nature walk, conflicting studies (but both successful results) and dignity were the central words of the 3rd and last day of the #NetherlandsFieldTrip2024 of the Clúster Salut Mental Catalunya last Friday. Thank you Jan-Jakob Leidekker of 's Heeren Loo for the hospitality at your facilities and especially the tour through Het Beleefhuis. Also thank you for explaining and showcasing your products Joost Tiemersma of @Aerolet Care Lifting Solutions, Wim Nobbe of Guldmann and Jasper (Manenschijn) of Health2Work! And closed the day at GGz Centraal with insightful studies led by Marionne Bartels, Floortje Scheepers en Barbara Montagne! With a mind full of inspiration the cluster returnd with a broad look of the Dutch system, struggles and innovations to relief these struggles. In the morning Bas van Riet Paap from BuurtzorgT explained how they work and how it works, together with 2 psychiatrist of 2 different BuurtzorgT teams there was a nice in dept panel discussion which left the group inspired! 🚀Yesterday we kicked-off the 1st day of the #NetherlandsFieldTrip2024 organized for the WeMind Cluster, to learn about the Dutch ecosystem of elderly care, mental health care and disabled care. 💼The morning was filled with getting to know the #Rotterdam ecosystem at the social enterprise Het Hof van Charlois, where we listened to and discussed current challenges with Rotterdam Square, Convergence Health & Technology, GameAnalyze B.V., Sensara and Tinybots. Parallel to the sessions, 6 participants visited Be Advice | Je kent ons van De Hogeweyk®, 's werelds eerste "Dementia Village". 👥In the afternoon the group participated in the World of Health Care | WoHC 2024, organized by Task Force Health Care (TFHC). A day full of innovation, inspiration and networking, and this all in the stunning background of #Rotterdam!
