𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐉𝐈𝐏 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 “𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐬” The Handbook on Design and Operation of Flexible Pipes was originally published back in the 90's with a major update in 2014 and subsequentially has become a global reference as it provides the offshore industry with methods and guidelines supplementary to the requirements of the API standard. With the new revisions of API 17B/J and the significant industry learnings over the last 10 years it is time to up-date the handbook to guide the industry on best practices for designing and operating flexible pipes. The Handbook will be updated through a Joint Industry Project where major operators have already confirmed their attendance. Now we are inviting operators, key suppliers and contractors to also join this project to share your expertise and experience and influence industry best practices going forward.
