📢 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐢𝐠 📢 We have signed a framework agreement with Statsbygg, the Norwegian Directorate of Public Construction and Property, for quality assuring and managing data driven construction and operations for their projects and property portfolio. The agreement has followed a public tendering procedure where we got top score on all evaluation criteria except one. For us, our product, and our customers, this is a milestone of immense proportions. Providing a main platform for data driven construction and operations for an organisation that executes the erection and management of most high-profile public buildings in a country, is humbling for a startup. And so important. Similarly, providing the next generation data functionality for the agency that not only effectively introduced BIM to the Norwegian AECO industry 15 years ago, but also keeps pushing the limits of digitisation internationally, tells us that we are doing something right. We hope and believe that we can help Statsbygg and all their suppliers bring digital project execution to the next level. We also hope that this can bring the imminent introduction of digital operations closer to becoming mainstream for the global AECO industry. Data quality > Data quantity Dynamic requirements > static requirements Open collaboration > bottleneck experts Finally, we would like to thank a few individuals for helping along the way: 🙏 Maria Bagdasaryan for your dedication to using Anker to deliver massive value on the new Viking Age Museum (Vikingtidsmuseet), our first project with Statsbygg. 🙏 Everyone who tested Anker on their Statsbygg projects. 🙏 Frode Mohus and Øystein Graffer for pushing us to build the functionality that your future projects need. 🙏 Steen Sunesen, Omar Manaf and Daniel Gomsrud for encouraging us while you were at Statsbygg. Not forgotten ❤️ 🙏 Anders Kornbrekke for organising the process so well. Thank you all. Now let's get to work 🚀 🔥 Havard Vasshaug || Erik Heggstad || Ahmad Saleem Z
Mindre energi. Mindre avfall. Mindre tid. Mer tillit.

Say hi to our new friend, Losinger Marazzi SA 🔥 🇨🇭 🚀 This week we met up with Tobias Schnell, Alexander Joslyn & Gianni Guidetti and the rest of the Losinger Marazzi crew at their offices in Bern to help produce a flying start with a classic Anker style in-person onboarding, led by digital construction enigma Erik Heggstad. It is awesome that construction firms across the world is starting to take information management seriously for their data driven work. A nice 3D viewer has little value if the information people look for is wrong, missing, locked or unstructured. (That list can get long.) We are excited and grateful for the opportunity to work with such inspiring firms and people. Havard Vasshaug

Our viewing experience is getting faster on bigger datasets. Today you can filter, group, color and inspect tens of thousands of elements across models, disciplines, levels, zones or any other data. And it is fast. Send Havard Vasshaug a note on ankerdb.com/contact and share with us how this can help you!

Håvard pretending to work.
My new favorite pretending-to-work-activity is zooming in and out of our geometry-fueled data tables. I love that they are preconfigured in a collaborative web interface, that all the data is always there (no loading time) and that two forces are improving them in parallel: That Open Company and Anker. We have a lot of work to do on experience and the balancing of pretty and fast, but it's improving rapidly. We also want to combine these experiences with diagrams, timeline, validation (already there but no colors) and scheduling. ankerdb.com

One of the first construction firms that started improving their data driven building process with Anker was Backe. This week, site manager Magnus Nørstebø took the stage in front of 400 of Norway's tech leaders at #DKT and shared how he improves construction site efficiency through real-time cost calculation. And the numbers he gets are correct. They are accurate because they come from a combination of non-BIM data like activities, materials and non-model elements, digital progress tracking, Backe's own cost, time and carbon data, and structured BIM. What differentiates Backe from many other companies that we meet, is that they have non-technical on site managers who benefit directly from information value generated by seemingly complex data processes. Too often we meet BIM personell who only want to solve BIM problems. We need to tell the stories of how data and information improves business outcomes in construction. Thank you Magnus for doing you part 🙏❤️ 👉 Thor-Erik Johnsrud Mårten Skällenäs Gunilla S. Maren Grande Kaia Conradi Tor-Øyvind Lehmann Erik Heggstad Havard Vasshaug

There’s a full house at the Anker stand at Den Kloke Teknologi when Erik Heggstad fights bad data to get to real information value for data driven construction 🥷 Come over and say hi, and if you’re not in Oslo head over to ankerdb.com and get in touch with us for an online version.

Anker la ut dette på nytt
🎉 Congratulations to Startuplab for the successful organization of the visit of the Norwegian startups Leasi, Hive Autonomy , Anker, Infraspace, and Naeva to some of the main Spanish engineering and building contractors SACYR, ACCIONA I'MNOVATION, and Ferrovial Construction! The program provided the opportunity for the Norwegian startups to present their innovative technologies to world-leading companies open to exploring cutting-edge solutions and technologies. Initiatives like these are essential for fostering international collaboration and knowledge exchange, thereby driving growth and innovation in both countries! #Innovation #StartupLab #NorwegianStartups #Engineering #Construction #Technology #Collaboration #InnovationNorway #Growth #InternationalBusiness #KnowledgeExchange

We have history 🎉 "Why did the number of windows with status 400 decrease by 10 % since Monday?" "How come the number of Walls with no Control Zone increased since Tuesday? "What caused that spike increase in Rentable Area on Level 3 last week?" These are the types of questions we can help ask, and soon answer. Any element, any data, any time. Revit, IFC, your own data.
