At Appear, he’ll be focusing on the Iberia market (Spain & Portugal) with plans to expand into Mediterranean regions. Outside of work, Álvaro is a dedicated father of three, a passionate Real Madrid fan, and an avid mountain biker and padel player. With 20 years of industry experience, Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge in video contribution and distribution, remote production, and media asset management. His impressive career includes roles at Red Bee Media, Sky, and BT, where he played a key role in defining service architecture for BT’s Vena network. Most notably, he helped deploy over 200 Appear X20 frames across 110 remote television transmitter sites—a massive achievement in live production infrastructure! At Appear, Jonathan serves as a solution architect and technical expert for the UK, working closely with customers to deliver innovative solutions and shaping product roadmaps based on market trends.
