The past few weeks have been filled with memorable moments across the maritime industry.
It’s been an incredible time reconnecting with old friends and building new relationships.
There were so many highlights during this period:
🚤⚡️ The launch of Singapore’s first fully electric hydrofoiling vessel, Hydroglyder, at OSEA 2024. The very top of my list, this milestone is a shining example of the progress we’re making in sustainable maritime innovation. It was a perfectly executed launch, from the fantastic presentation by Jan Viggo Johansen to the great visuals done by the marketing team—everything was flawless and left a lasting impression. A special shoutout to my amazing colleagues in the Hydroglyder project Yinson GreenTech team who poured their determination, creativity, and hard work into bringing this vision to life. You’ve set a new benchmark for green technology in our industry! Also a big thank you to all the friends who dropped by for the event, visited our booth to support us and who dropped by for the dinner after! 🥂 Was grateful for being invited to the post-OSEA event organized by Ben Line Group which was a warm and intimate gathering of industry friends and collaborators. Thank you to the team at Ben Line for hosting such a wonderful evening, to Joshua for the invite, and it was great catching up with some old friends from offshore marine whom I have not had the chance to meet in some time!
🍸✨ The Singapore Shipping Association Year-End Cocktail was a fantastic evening celebrating the successes of our maritime community. Looking forward to the new year with Chun How Loh, our new Executive Director, at the helm of SSA, taking us to new heights!
🌍💡 The opportunity to share at AlterCOP29 about how we at Yinson GreenTech are driving decarbonization in maritime last-mile supply chains. Being part of the conversation on sustainability and sharing our work with passionate changemakers was both an honor and a reminder of the importance of this mission. A big thank you to Violaine Balland for the invitation and was also very inspired, in particular, by the work being done at C-Loop, during the sharing by Capt. Vineet Batura.
🎭✨ Last but not least, the RMS Gala Dinner was a spectacular event celebrating the achievements of RMS over past few years. Was very impressed by the growth in the past few years and could see the passion present in the team! A big thank you for the invitation by and I am sure RMS would have even more achievements to share during the next gala dinner!
