🎄The Dibber Meal Experience in Finland! 🧑🍳
Frode Selvaag, our Global Head of Food Services, recently visited Pilke Hehku in Klaukkala, Finland, where Unit Manager Andrea Vanhanen and Elias Kinnunen, a pastry chef turned educator, invited him to join a Dibber Meal activity with the children. This hands-on experience blended tradition, exploration, fun, and much learning in the most festive way!
Children baked #Joulutorttu, a traditional Finnish Christmas pastry, while exploring the textures and flavors of ingredients before and after baking. They also learned how dried orange peel and traditional plum marmalade are made turning a simple recipe into a fun discovery of #culture and #creativity.
At Dibber, we believe in transforming everyday moments into meaningful opportunities for playful learning, cultural appreciation, and life skills development. This festive activity was the perfect way to celebrate the season and our pedagogy!
