Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting DNB Markets’ Economic Outlook 1/2025 on Main Stage at Digs 📊 Senior economist Knut A. Magnussen took us through key insights from DNB’s latest half-year report, offering perspectives on the impact of a potential second Trump presidency, global trade, and Norway’s economic trajectory. 🔹 Trade tensions create uncertainty, but global growth remains resilient 🔹 Higher tariffs could drive inflation, limiting central banks’ ability to cut interest rates 🔹 Norges Bank is expected to lower rates three times this year - no more, no less 🔹 The Norwegian economy remains solid, with low unemployment and persistently high inflation The financial landscape is shifting, and staying informed is more important than ever.
