Excited to welcome Harry van Weerdenburg to the team! 🌟✈️ Harry has been in the aerospace industry for 45 years and has an extensive experience as a senior EWIS engineer on multiple programs. He worked on commuter airplanes of Fokker and Bombardier’s C-series, business jets Hawker Horizon & Bombardier’s Global 7000. Also on the Joint Strike Fighter F35, the ARJ2 EWIS improvement program and the seaplane Seastar of Dornier Seawings. - I got interested in working at Elfly to design a full electric seaplane from scratch and be able to apply my experience on the development of the Noemi. My first few weeks have been a very nice experience. The Elfly colleagues made me feel quickly a part of the team. The local people in Sandefjord all have been very nice and welcoming as well. I’m looking forward to making the NoEmi a very successful program and spending a nice life in Norway. We are so grateful to have someone with your experience and knowledge joining us! 🥳

Warm welcome to our new employee, Enrico Trevisan! 🤩 Enrico has a Master’s degree in Aerospace engineering, and is specialised in “Lightweight Structures” at KTH. He has previously worked as a Composite Research Engineer at GKN Aerospace, where he gained experience both in Simulations and Design for composites. - I strongly believe that electric aircrafts are going to be increasingly relevant in the coming years, and Elfy has the opportunity to show how a sensible design can lead to the forefront of this transition. Having the opportunity to join the team as a Structural Design Engineer gives me the chance to work with a group of passionate people with a common interest in environmentally friendly aviation. We are truly excited to work with someone like you, who shares our passion and believes in this just as strongly as we do! Let's go ✈️ 🙏

The Zero Emission Regional Aviation Conference (ZERAC) in Oslo last week was a great opportunity to hear perspectives from across investment, infrastructure, and energy. As the only Norwegian OEM present, we were glad to present our case to the ecosystem whose success is our daily labor. There is a strong feeling at events like this that the sometimes disparate pieces of the new aviation puzzle are falling into place. With new test arenas, opportunities for funding, and interest from across Europe, we can't wait to fly with you!

We are thrilled to announce our new partner, NORDIC Seaplanes! With an initial agreement for 5 aircraft and the potential for 15, we aim to bring quiet, no-emission aviation to the Nordics this decade. The agreement was signed by Nordic Seaplanes CEO Ole Christiansen and Elfly Group CEO Eric Lithun at our event in Copenhagen, right next to our new partner's seaplane base in the heart of the city. It was an afternoon full of exciting news, presentations, and for many, their first trip in a seaplane! Heartfelt thanks to the ministers, press, and investors who travelled from all over for our historic event. Special thanks to Norwegian Ambassador to Denmark, Katja Norgaard, as well as the Mayor of Gotland, Meit Fohlin.
