These are the faces of Arctic technology and innovation. They are young, entrepreneurial, and brave to search for solutions for challenges in the Arctic, such as energy efficiency, safety at work, mental health, and textile waste. These young people and their start-ups are based in Northern Norway. Every year, Norinnova AS organizes an Arctic Ignite pitching competition to support young entrepreneurs in Northern Norway by providing funding, mentorship, and network access to develop innovative business ideas with regional and international potential. 🎉 Ignite Day gikk av stabelen med et smell i dag og 4 nordnorske startups mottok til sammen 1,7 MILLIONER KRONER 🎉 Juryprisene på 500 000 kr gikk til Hydroflow Technologies, Safe Works og Jona Engineering, og Folkets pris på 200 000 kr gikk til Scoped Solutions. Vi er imponert over utviklingen dere har vist underveis i programmet og ambisjonsnivået dere har lagt fremover! Tusen takk for solide pitcher og bidrag til de øvrige deltakerne i Arctic Ignite: Kling, Gemz, Instorier, HHS Robotics, Global Care Development og ZK Varme. Årets kompetente jury bestod av: Asbjørn Lilletun, Anne Berit Figenschau, Benjamin Furuly og Håvard Olav Hansen. Prosjektleder for Arctic Ignite er Hedda Crogh og dagens konferansier var Tiril Kræmer Kufaas. Å satse på unge gründere og gi dem en reell sjanse til å lykkes er essensielt for å utvikle fremtidens næringsliv i Nord-Norge. Derfor vil vi takke Utenriksdepartementet som har muliggjort Arctic Ignite tre år på rad. Nå ser Norinnova AS etter nye samarbeidspartnere som vil støtte satsningen de neste årene!

Thanks to the Norinnova AS Meet and Match initiative, I'm pleased to announce the expansion of the GCD team with Abhishek Ranjan, who will be helping us with business development and brand visibility. Abhishek has been a key figure within the international student community of UiT and has extensive experience with community management and social media. He also shares our passion in the fight against depression and has given lectures on this subject at SpareBank 1 Nord-Norges Rødbanken. --- Takket være Norinnovas Meet and Match-initiativ kan jeg nå annonsere utvidelsen av GCD-teamet med Abhishek Ranjan, som vil hjelpe oss med forretningsutvikling og merkevaresynlighet. Abhishek har vært en sentral figur i det internasjonale studentmiljøet ved UiT og har omfattende erfaring med community management og sosiale medier. Han er også veldig engasjert i temaet depresjon og har holdt foredrag om dette emnet på Rødbanken.

As we continue to work on the development of our depression initiative, we can finally announce that our research in the form of a systematic review of other digital treatment solutions, has been completed.
