🎓 𝐄𝐭 𝐇𝐀𝐕 𝐚𝐯 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫   Vi hadde en begivenhetsrik dag på Bedriftsdagen, arrangert av Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) i Trondheim.   Formålet med arrangementet er å bygge og opprettholde relasjoner mellom det maritime næringslivet og studentene ved NTNU. Vi ser dette som en viktig del av arbeidet med å sikre kompetanseutviklingen i bransjen, samt å synliggjøre de mulighetene HAV Group kan tilby som fremtidig arbeidsgiver.   Mange engasjerte studenter besøkte standen vår for å lære mer om oss og våre datterselskaper: HAV Design AS, Norwegian Electric Systems (NES), HAV Hydrogen AS og Norwegian Greentech AS. ⚡ Our company Norwegian Electric Systems (NES) wins contract from Green Yard Kleven to deliver a complete power, automation and navigation solution to a field support vessel for OMV Petrom. 💬 “According to DNV, closed bus-ties have emerged as a viable solution to enhance energy efficiency. These allow the integration of DP power systems and reduce the number of generator sets that need to run simultaneously. This leads to optimized power-sharing, reduced fuel consumption and emissions, fewer engine hours, and lower maintenance costs. Additionally, a system with active and reactive power-sharing across bus ties can mitigate and reduce the consequences of certain failure modes,” says Siv Remøy-Vangen, managing director of HAV Group’s business for energy design and smart control systems, Norwegian Electric Systems (NES). 💬 “We are happy to have NES with us on this important contract, and we are really looking forward to the collaboration. 📰 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | Norwegian Electric Systems (NES) to deliver battery package to Rem Offshore CSV Norwegian shipowner Rem Offshore has contracted HAV Group’s business for energy design and smart control systems to deliver a deck-based battery energy storage system to its Rem Inspector construction support vessel (CSV). 💬 “Reducing energy consumption on offshore vessels is achieved through several measures, including integrating battery storage, energy management systems, and optimised propulsion. These efforts lead to both cost savings and lower emissions. Rem Offshore is committed to increasing fuel efficiency and providing customers with competitive, environmentally friendly vessels. We are proud to contribute to this forward-thinking approach,” says Siv Remøy-Vangen, managing director of Norwegian Electric Systems (NES) 💬 “We have recently ordered our first newbuild net-zero emission vessel which shows that sustainability and commercial priorities go hand-in-hand at Rem Offshore. Upgrading our current fleet is another key component of this strategy. 🚢 Yesterday’s presentation of the ZEPOD® at the #HAVstand at #SMMfair was a success! Thanks to Kristian, Stefan, Nils-Johan and Quint for an excellent event from HAV Hydrogen AS, in collaboration with Maris Fiducia. ⚡️ Today, Norwegian Greentech AS launched the RO unit to its product portfolio, with an excellent event gathering customers and partners at our stand. Jorge gave a presentation on their new unit, with a nice introduction from Børge. Well done! 🌊 We were also pleased to have Team Norway i Tyskland (Royal Norwegian Embassy in Berlin , Innovasjon Norge and Norsk-Tysk Handelskammer) over for a visit to learn more about our extensive portfolio of technology and solutions.
