Holy smokes 💥, our test boat is getting utterly abused these days 😮! With our new seafront office 😎, we have significantly shortened our test iterations and are daily on the water to “bulletproof” our product - mounted to a normal boat. Smoothly flying in to the weekend! Many believe that flying is the major obstacle when discussing hydrofoils, and yes, flying is certainly a crucial aspect of it. Flying is what makes it so visual👓, so spectacular, and so incomparably effective to conventional planing hulls 🚤. Making a boat fly is not a small feat; it takes time⌛, brain power👨💻, and dedication, but many have done it before (remember the flying high-speed ferries in the 60s & 70s🕺?). The real challenge is to make the hydrofoil system robust, easy to service, intuitive to integrate, and not at least commercially sustainable 💵.    This is what Lift Ocean sets out to do. In Lift Ocean we’re becoming experts at inspecting antifouling paint on the hull during motion 😄 Now, what you actually see in the 🎥 snippet is the hull of our test boat equipped with our generic hydrofoil system. 🚚 Moving Day! 🚚🔨 Big news: We’ve just moved into a new waterfront combined workshop and office at Fornebu, just outside Oslo! 🌊 Imagine this: 15 minutes from downtown Oslo, we can now design, build, and test our hydrofoil systems with the water literally at our doorstep. It’s a game-changer for us! The facilities are still quite crude, giving us that authentic startup vibe and the energy needed to disrupt the maritime industry!
