Moving procedures from the OR to the outpatient setting results in better patient outcomes and care and is relevant for many surgical specialties including gynecology.
🏥Enklare operationer direkt på mottagningen🏥 På Helsingborgs lasarett genomförs årligen 750 operationer på ortopedimottagningen. Genom att vissa ingrepp görs direkt på mottagningen minskar väntetiderna – samtidigt som operationsavdelningen kan fokusera på de mer komplicerade fallen. "Vi försöker alltid utveckla våra arbetssätt, både inom dagkirurgin och vad som är möjligt att göra i lokalbedövning på mottagningen. Främst handlar det om enklare ingrepp i händer och fötter där vi inte förväntar oss några stora överraskningar, till exempel karpaltunnelsyndrom, triggerfinger eller hallux valgus", säger Malin Zimmerman, specialistläkare inom ortopedi på Helsingborgs lasarett.
