  • Pareto Alternative Investments AS has successfully raised another NOK 1.32bn for Pareto Real Estate Credit Fund (PREC) from institutional investors. PREC’s strategy is to invest in senior secured real estate debt in the Nordics, providing an alternative source of financing alongside the bank market. PAI would like to thank new and existing investors for their vote of confidence.   PAI manages capital on behalf of institutional investors across certain funds and discretionary investment mandates, and has since 2016 executed more than NOK 25 bn of investments in real asset debt on behalf of institutional investors.

  • Ready for further growth with the appointment of Thomas Høifødt as Head of Investor Relations at Pareto Alternative Investments AS (PAI). “Ramping up the Investor Relation-function will cater for future growth and new fund structures. There's investor demand for PAI’s specialized strategies within logistic real estate, infrastructure, and credit investments. We just need to expand our outreach. A lot of fun having Thomas back with us.”, says Managing Partner Johan Anker-Rasch. Thomas Høifødt was first employed in 2010 to work with the predecessor to PAI, Pareto Project Finance. Back then he worked as a sales trader in funds managed by PAI founders Johan Anker-Rasch and Jonathan Barfod. “Life is wonderful returning to PAI after some years of picking up experience and industry know-how elsewhere. I know that investors love industry specialists and focused strategies, and getting back onboard with PAI was a no-brainer” Thomas says.

  • Pareto Alternative Investments AS, on behalf of institutional investors, has participated in a SEK 3.6 billion (equivalent) infrastructure debt financing of Open Infra AB, an optical fiber infrastructure provider with more than 100,000 homes connected across Sweden and Germany.

    DNB Markets acted as Sole Debt Advisor in the SEK 3,600m (equivalent) Senior and Junior financing for Open Infra AB (publ) and Open Infra TopCo AB.   Open Infra owns fiber networks serving mainly single-dwelling units providing last mile fiber connections between households, companies, and the regional and national fiber network in Sweden and Germany.   We thank Open Infra for the vote of confidence and congratulate them on the successful transaction. #financing #fibre #investmentbanking

  • Pareto Alternative Investments AS ("PAI") has provided 1st-lien debt to the residential property developer Realy Bostad for 240 ESG-certified residential apartments across three different projects located in Steninge slottsby, Greater Stockholm, and Tynnered, Gothenburg. The total expected loan amount under the agreement is SEK 450 million, half of which is paid out immediately and the remainder upon stabilisation of the final phase in Steninge slottsby during the first quarter of 2025.

    Realy Bostad har tecknat avtal med Pareto Alternative Investments AS avseende slutplacering i bolagets samtliga färdigställda projekt. Finansieringen omfattar 240 miljöcertifierade hyresbostäder i Sigtuna och Göteborg och beräknas uppgå till 450 msek i samband med färdigställande av Kv Trädgårdsmästeriet i Steninge slottsby under första kvartalet av 2025. - Vi är glada över att inleda ett samarbete med Realy Bostad i detta skede.   • As one of Norway’s largest owners of solar power plants, we see great potential for decentralized energy storage within our portfolio, having already established both power generation and grid capacity. We are investing in battery solutions in Sweden, where market conditions are more favorable than in Norway. Pareto Alternative Investments believes that the existing grid infrastructure can be leveraged more efficiently through smart solutions like optimal management of solar power, battery systems, and energy consumption. This can help reduce the need for costly grid expansions, which are ultimately passed on to consumers through electricity bills. We are working closely with partners such as Skyfri and look forward to the continued maturation of the market. We are waiting on Statnett, grid companies, and the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE/RME) to provide the necessary tools to unlock this potential.   • We are pleased to announce that Pareto Solar Fund has been selected by Ahlsell Norge AS and Logistic Contractor Norge to finance, design, and lease a large-scale solar power system for Norway’s largest warehouse at Nebbenes. The photovoltaic system, with a total capacity of 4.2 MWp—comprising 3.9 MWp on the roof and 300 kWp on the facade—will rank among the largest in Norway. It is projected to generate approximately 3,400,000 kWh annually. This is one of many significant projects that Pareto Solar Fund is involved in across the Nordics.     Vi har valgt Pareto Solar Fund som finansierer og utleier av solcelleanlegg når vi nå utvikler og bygger Norges største lagerbygg bygget i én etappe i Eidsvoll kommune. Solcelleanlegget blir ett av Norges største på hele 3,9 MWp på tak og 300 kWp på fasade. Solcelleanlegget er forventet å produsere om lag 3 400 000 kWt per år, noe som tilsvarer gjennomsnittlig strømforbruk for over 400 leiligheter i Norge. Med dette viser LC og Ahlsell Norge AS at vi i felleskap tar ansvar for og er i førersetet for miljøløsninger. Ikke bare blir bygget Breeam sertifisert, men hovedkilden for energi til ett av Norges største lagerbygg kommer fra ett enormt bergvarme- samt solcelleanlegg. Bygget blir dermed ett netto null bygg dvs at bygget produserer like mye energi som det forbruker.  Ahlsell tar ansvar, målene til Ahlsell mhp miljø kan du lese om her:
