Early neonatal jaundice screening and access to follow-up treatment means jaundice can be managed without long-lasting health consequences. Unfortunately, this is not always the case, especially in low-resource settings where access to healthcare facilities, medical equipment and follow-up treatment are limited. For newborns in these areas, jaundice can present dire health consequences. Last week our CEO, Tormod Thomsen flew over 8,500km on a very important mission! 🛫 The trip marked the culmination of months of work to prepare for the final stages of the Picterus Jaundice Pro launch in Thailand. We were honored to be personally invited by the Thai Neonatal Society’s president Prof. Sarayut Supapannachart MD FAAP MBA, to showcase Picterus at the Neonatal Society Meeting in Bangkok on the 21-23rd August. The response and enthusiasm for our jaundice screening technology was incredible and further validated the need for accessible, affordable, and accurate jaundice monitoring to ensure that every baby is given the best start in life.
