We are architects who code, devoted to creating custom tools and automations for your needs.

Om oss

We are a software company employing architects and engineers who build better tools for your projects and processes. Our mission is to bridge the gap between those who make and those who use software. The AEC industry will never achieve its true digital potential until architects, engineers, and contractors start learning to code. For too long, we have handed over software development to IT companies that have little or no understanding of the challenges of our design and construction processes. At the same time, this has caused us to completely lose ownership as drivers of digital innovation. Reope is part of the international Bad Monkeys network of companies and individuals, spanning over three continents from Los Angeles to Brisbane. We collaborate on several projects and combine our skills and experience when needed.

  • 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐀𝐈 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 In the rush to adopt AI, we often overlook something crucial: the role of human judgment. While AI can analyze data and find patterns, human judgment is required to get to a design descion that ultimatley has the potential to create a better built environment. At Reope, we believe architects and engineers should be in the driver’s seat, using AI to support—not replace—creative and complex decisions. Our work with brilliant architects at firms like ATI Project shows the power of combining AI with unique company design data for meaningful, informed design that truly stands out. 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁.” We just published a recap of the amazing chat between Sofia from Parametric Solutions and Stian from Spacio at our Rebels of the #AEC event. They dove into the future of AEC software, and trust us, it’s a must-read! Here’s a quick peek: 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝘃𝘀. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗽: Many design softwares shift from desktop to web-based tools, architects and engineers should expect quicker iterations from web-based solutions than what we have been used to getting from our desktop-based software. 𝗔𝗜 𝘃𝘀. 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: AI can handle the boring stuff, but the creative decisions? That’s still the responsibility of humans. 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀: New tools are reshaping how we work together, and balancing control is a key consideration. Oh, and the audience asked a fun question: What animal is your software? • 𝗔 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗳𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘀! It was great to see the brilliant Alfonso from Heatherwick Studios take the stage at Autodesk University. He pulled back the curtain on their approach to BIM – and we’re both honored and proud to have played a part in their journey. Heatherwick Studios is all about pushing creative boundaries, and we’ve with them for a few years by now, helping solve the tricky problems that come with bold ideas and visionary projects. Here are some of the things we've done together over the years: 𝗜𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆? With complex projects, managing quality control can feel like an impossible game of whack-a-mole. 𝗕𝗜𝗠 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗲 brings order to the chaos with a visual overview that makes QA/QC across multiple models effortless, transforming what was once overwhelming into something beautifully manageable. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻? Let’s face it – documentation is often the beast lurking in every creative project. Time-consuming, relentless, and sometimes downright tedious. But with 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘀, we’ve worked to tame the beast, streamlining the process so Heatherwick’s team can spend less time trapped in the mundane. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀? Collaboration should be inclusive. Including non-Revit users in the review process is crucial, but it’s often a headache. 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗣𝗶𝗻 – our 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘁-𝘁𝗼-𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 – has opened up the design conversation for Heatherwick. More voices, more insights, more creativity. No more barriers. If you’re attending Autodesk University and your team is facing similar challenges – or you just want to explore new ways to elevate your workflow – our CEO will be waiting in Room 6A on Thursday morning. Come and chat with us about how custom tools can improve your projects, cut through the clutter, and unleash your creative potential. A huge thank you to Alfonso and the entire Heatherwick Studios team for trusting us as partners in your remarkable journey. We can’t wait to keep building, exploring, and transforming the AEC world – together. #AutodeskUniversity #BIM #Innovation #Architecture #BreakingBoundaries #CustomTools #CreativePotential #Collaboration
