In this edition of #ThePeopleBehindSmartCraft we are in the UK to talk to Nadine Dack - clixifix® who is Head of Sales for clixifix® (Part of SmartCraft).
💬 What do you do and what's important in your role?
“As Head of Sales, I lead a team of seven, driving revenue growth and ensuring our solutions bring real value to our customers. My role is a mix of strategy, coaching, and execution - helping my team develop, refine, and implement sales strategies that align with our company’s goals while keeping our customers at the centre of everything we do.
What’s important? Building strong relationships - both internally and externally - because great sales aren’t just about numbers; they’re about understanding challenges, delivering solutions, and creating long-term partnerships.”
💬 As an employee what do you value the most in your job?
“As one of the first people to join clixifix® and as Head of Sales, what I value most is the incredible journey we've been on and the culture we've built. Being part of a growing company from the early days has allowed me to directly contribute to its success, shaping not only our sales strategy but also the way we operate as a team and the product we’ve developed. I value the strong company culture that encourages collaboration and innovation, and the flexibility to manage my work effectively. The opportunity to share ideas and see the direct impact of those contributions is incredibly rewarding.”
💬 How does your role contribute to a better day for construction companies?
“I work closely with construction companies of all shapes and sizes to understand their challenges whether it’s managing customer care response times, communication with their stakeholders which typically involves residents and supply chain partners, or simply just keeping customers informed.
By educating companies of our platforms abilities we help them to resolve defects faster, keep projects moving smoothly, and enhance their customers satisfaction. We work closely with construction teams to embrace the change that comes with implementing new technology.
A better system means fewer frustrations, more efficiency, and ultimately, a more productive day on the job—allowing teams to focus on what truly matters: delivering quality work and exceptional service.”
💬 Do you have any unique skills or fun facts about yourself, either at work or in your personal life?
“I play in a social netball league, switching between Goal Attack and Wing Attack, with weekly training and matches keeping me on my toes. I’m also gearing up for Tough Mudder this summer as part of a charity event with some of my clixifix colleagues. When I’m not on the court or training, you’ll find me singing along to Celine Dion (big fan!) or spending time with my two wonderful boys, Lochlan and Calvin and my fiancé Ben.”
