For the past three years, we has been curating weekly menus for our users, made by Karen Elene Thorsen, also known as @fattig.student, and myself. Further more, Sulten app is now a portfolio site of a growing community of foodies, passionate about making better food and sharing knowledge about food waste. Our users are getting used to saving money and learning ways of better usage of ingredients ... So, what is next?
In partnership with Team Sulten, Nils Flatmark and Matvett AS, we have started a pilot project with goal of reducing food waste in a larger scale in Norway. With Nils in lead, we will develop sustainable menus tailored specifically for larger kitchens. Nils Flatmark is only 27 years old, but has already an impressive track record within the culinary of arts. He is a multiple champion (latest «Winner over all» award i Nordic Chef Challenge 2024), and working as head chef at Storfjord Hotel. In this pilot project, Nils will generously share his knowledge of buying, storage, preparation, and utilization of food for restaurants, catering operations, and larger corporate settings for the members of Matvett. We are more than excited to do this project with Nils, Marie Kleppe, Anne-Grete Haugen and Anne Marie Schrøder! 🌱
