2025 blir minst like spennende! ⚡ Powerful Systems Start with Powerful Stories. Every system we live by, be it economic, social, or environmental, is built on a foundation of stories. If we want to create meaningful and lasting economic change, we must rewrite the underlying narrative. As it stands, we attempt to change the surface dynamics without addressing the belief systems that shape them. But the truth is; the story of separation, where individuals are isolated and disconnected, has been holding us back. To build a flourishing economic system, we must embrace the story of inter-being, where connection, collaboration, and a shared purpose guide our decisions. Economics must become more than numbers; it must help us find meaning and foster collective well-being. 🌱 It’s time to shift from what is to what could be. By aligning our systems with new stories of unity and sustainability, we can create a future that thrives- the future that we want. What story do you want to change? Storytelling with Kees Klomp, Program manager Agency Windesheim, Founding partner: THRIVE Institute, Partner: Purpose Day, Initiator: Purpose People and Former Professor of Applied Science Rotterdam Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Filmed at Sustainability Hub Norway (S-HUB) S-Hub Summit 2024 Thank you to the team. #EconomicChange #Sustainability #StorytellingForChange #SystemsThinking #Interconnectedness #FlourishingEconomy #CollectiveImpact #LeadershipForChange #FutureOfEconomics #InnovationForGood Andreas Friis Anita Bui Katrine Sundbye Oda Smedsrudhagen Silje Arnesen Siljehaug Ida Aandal Røijen Bjørn Kjærand Haugland Turid Elisabeth Solvang Mikkel Becker-Aakervik Natalie Bridgette Becker-Aakervik

“No one can do everything, but everyone can do something” - Storytelling with Jan Eliasson, Swedish and United Nations Diplomat. When we look at the calm horizon or unspoiled landscapes, it’s easy to think the challenges we face; climate change, biodiversity loss, or sustainability, are not urgent. But the truth is that we must adopt a long-term perspective and #ActNow.✨ The world doesn’t just need prevention strategies- it needs action rooted in listening and understanding. Early, decisive action against environmental threats can reduce economic damages by up to 60%. Acting on the "vibrations" of change today ensures resilience #tomorrow. Together, by taking long-term responsibility for our planet, we can create a future where people and nature thrive. 🌱 💡 How will you take responsibility today? In the interview for the series 'The House Has a View' curated by Storebrand Asset Management, we sat down with Lise Kingo, -Independent Board Director at Danone, Sanofi, Covestro, Member of The Humanitarian and Development Aid Advisory Panel Novo Nordisk Foundation, Former Independent Board Director Aker Horizons. Board Member Boards Impact Forum, Former CEO & Executive Director, United Nations Global Compact. She shares why #SDG5 is her favorite goal, drawing from her personal journey and experiences. SDG 5 (#GenderEquality) isn’t just a goal; it’s a global opportunity waiting to be unlocked. The gender gap doesn’t just hold back individuals, it holds back economies, innovation, and progress. 🌍 Navigating the challenges of executive management highlights the barriers women face in the business world. The economic benefits of closing the gender gap are undeniable, yet progress toward equality remains far too slow. It’s time for governments, businesses, and civil society to step up and accelerate change. Gender equality isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s the smart thing to do. Together, we can create a world where everyone has an equal chance to succeed. 📢 Let’s stop talking about potential and start realizing it. Stories connect us all. Imagine mistaking plastic for food. This is the reality for many sea turtles, whose survival is threatened by our plastic waste. Plastic bags floating in the ocean resemble jellyfish, a key food for turtles. Tragically, each year thousands of turtles ingest plastic, leading to malnutrition, injury, and often death. Listen to the message of the young generation with an ocean story by Reff and Breeze from Loop Crew New Zealand. Recent studies from Marine Pollution Bulletin reveal that over 50% of sea turtles globally have consumed plastic, a crisis that underscores the need for urgent change. Simple actions like picking up litter or skipping plastic straws can make a significant impact to our environment. Every piece of plastic removed from our environment reduces the risk for marine life. 🌍 By embracing small, mindful habits, each of us can play a part in protecting our oceans and all the life within them. Let’s make our choices count. 💚 Stories connect us all. #TLG #ProtectOurOceans #SaveTheTurtles #PlasticFreeOceans #SustainableLiving #EcoConscious #OceanConservation #ReducePlasticWaste #EnvironmentalStewardship #SmallActionsBigImpact Dianna Birchfield-West Co-founder at ChargeNet - EV Charging Solutions, Social and environmental justice campaigner.
