TrainVision is a startup venture originating from the NTNU School of Entrepreneurship in Norway and is based on research from The Norwegian Geotechnical Institute. Our mission revolves around revolutionizing railway inspection through innovative technology. TrainVision introduces a new solution by outfitting trains with cameras that capture continuous, high-resolution images of the surrounding terrain along railway lines. These images are then transformed into detailed 3D models, giving geologists a comprehensive visual aid for remote analysis. Together with NGI we are creating a product that is by geologists, for geologists.
