VESO was established in 1988 and is owned by AquaNova Invest AS and the employees. VESO is a majority shareholder of Brynsløkken AS who produce antifouling products for the aquaculture industry.

I am pleased to share that the most recent paper from my PhD work has just been published in Veterinary Research. 🐟 In this study, we demonstrate the potential impact of co-infection with P. salmonis LF-89 and EM-90 in post-smolt Atlantic salmon. Our findings reveal that the synergistic interaction between these two genogroups can significantly influence the disease dynamics of SRS and the host’s immune response. This research underscore the importance of investigating multi-genotype infections of P. salmonis to gain deeper insights into the pathogen population dynamics and developing more effective control strategies for SRS.
