Innovation, experimenting and testing is part of our DNA! We have been collaborating with RISE Fire Research, Woodify AS and BACKEGARDS, in the Norwegian Pilot for the TREEADS project, focusing on wildfires in Norway, https://lnkd.in/e-ZEg35M. During this large-scale fire experiment, we are looking at the fire performance of different technologies designed to protect buildings and critical infrastructure in the wildland-urban interface. We simulated a wildfire spreading across a field where our rubber-based materials successfully protected steel boxes (imitating steel infrastructure) and showed promise in protecting electric cables. #PolymerPioneers #InnovationProjects
