Vouch 🤝 the talent referral platform la ut dette på nytt
Sometimes the problem isn’t your product – it’s how you talk about it. At Vouch, we’ve been laser-focused on building a killer product. But we just realised something: our customers love us once they understand what we do, but our website wasn't telling that story I should’ve known, having product marketing on my CV and all. But, the cobbler’s children go barefoot, I guess. So, we decided to redo our marketing pages 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻. Since day one, Vouch has been a tool to engage any network – employees, customers, partners – to find and hire top talent. But many prospects saw us as just another crowdsourcing tool. The result? A lot of “Wait, you do 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 too?!” moments during demos. Our product was working. Our communication wasn’t. What we’ve changed: 1️⃣ 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗩𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀: A powerful platform that helps companies leverage ANY network (employees, customers, partners) to find and hire the best talent. Vouch helps simplify workflows around referrals and candidate management, job listing campaign promotion, and (if applicable) automated rewards payouts. 2️⃣ 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽: If you believe your networks should be the first stop in hiring (pro tip: they should), we’ve got you covered end-to-end. 3️⃣ 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁: We realised our pricing structure was actually blocking our message. We've adjusted it to reflect our value – now we're not just the best platform out there, we're more cost-effective than managing hiring and referrals in-house. After changing the way we present ourselves, we’ve seen customers running with it in numerous ways, depending on where their networks are strongest: → Establishing or improving their employee referral programs → Embedding Vouch on their websites → Featuring it in customer newsletters → Adding in-app notifications for SaaS users → Using QR codes at events → Even powering outbound candidate searches And so much more. Here's the fascinating part: our core product hasn't fundamentally changed. What changed was how we talked about it. We’re far from done and we’re getting constant feedback that there’s room for even more clarity 😅. But one step at a time. Sorry for the ramble. But it’s pretty cool to see the effects of messaging alone. Vouch 🤝 the talent referral platform
