🌟OSLO Convention Bureau welcomes 13 new ambassadors🌟 On Monday, March 18th, The Ambassador Program at OSLO Convention Bureau celebrated 13 new additions to the city's international conference scene in the prestigious Rococo hall at Grand Hotel Oslo in a solemn ceremony. Mayor Anne Lindboe presented the diplomas to the new Oslo ambassadors. The appointment as "Oslo Conference Ambassador" is a recognition of the efforts made by key figures in Oslo region's scientific communities and businesses to promote Norwegian research and expertise internationally through conference events. These events not only contribute to economic growth but also strengthen Oslo's reputation both nationally and internationally. Congratulations to our new ambassadors: Are Brean, Axel Sauter, Ida Bronken, Jan Ivar Ernø, Marte Rime Bø, Niels Kristensen, Petter Noddeland, Petter Brandal, Roy Jahrn Holtan, Yan Zhang, Paula Varela Tomasco, Valérie Almli, and Wenche Merete Larssen! 👏 Marjun Persson, project manager for the ambassador program, emphasizes the importance of the program and the opportunity it provides participants to showcase their work and expertise both nationally and internationally. She highlights that participants become part of a growing network of ambassadors who can contribute to increasing the significance of conferences in their respective professional communities. - International meetings are the driving forces for change.
