Another Love Letter to You – Our Community 🫶 As 2024 comes to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on a year filled with bold moves, eye-opening dialogues, moments of awe, and the collective energy of a community that dares to imagine – and build – a better future. This year, we successfully created space for critical questions, systemic solutions, and meaningful connections. We hosted over 80 sessions at KFF24, welcoming nearly 800 change-makers in Oslo. Additionally, we initiated important dialogues about AI, experience design, impact investing, community building, and more throughout Europe. In 2024, we experienced a journey of growth, impact, and deep learning. But this year was also about pausing, reflecting, and recalibrating. When we made the bold decision to pause Katapult Future Fest in 2025, your overwhelming messages of support, love, and encouragement truly reminded us of the strength of this incredible ecosystem. For that, we are endlessly grateful. As we look to 2025, a year to realign and build, we hold onto the belief that the most courageous steps forward sometimes begin with stepping back. Together, we will keep asking the hard questions, pushing boundaries, and creating ripples of change that stretch far beyond the here and now. So, thank you – for your trust, your continuous support, your ideas, your partnership, and for walking this path with us. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with renewal, inspiration, and impact. May 2025 bring even greater opportunities for systemic change, and may we continue to shape a future grounded in hope and action, together 🔮✨ With love and gratitude, The Katapult Future Fest Team Ida Faldbakken, Danielle DeRose, Anine Willums Karp, Tharald Nustad

When the boldest action is a reflection. Katapult Future Fest is taking an intentional pause in 2025. This decision allows us to reflect deeply, recalibrate, and envision how best to serve the ecosystem in future years. This is not an easy decision, nor a retreat. Instead, it's a deliberate act of stewardship – a commitment to ourselves, our community, and the planet. In pausing and slowing down, we create the space to think bigger, stress less, and simply be present; with nature, with each other, and with the pressing challenges that require our collective attention. In this context, the decision becomes an inspiring aspiration! How can we rekindle a sense of awe and wonder to drive meaningful change? 🎙️ "In this tech-vexed age, our life on screens prevents us from experiencing the mysteries and transformative wonder of life," writes Pam Weintraub in Aeon (https://lnkd.in/dU7zwPaA). Laura's journey – from collaborating with artists to transform textile waste into powerful installations, to leading change through wonder rather than fear – challenges the traditional strategies of impact. Tune in to discover how we can lead change through wonder, imagination, and a renewed connection to the world around us: https://lnkd.in/ewvh9Adp As the founder of Awe Exchange, Laura reimagines how we can shift our focus away from guilt and overstimulation, toward moments that truly reconnect us to what matters. "Awe is more than just a fleeting feeling; it’s a doorway to deeper, lasting transformation" 💫 This episode explores how fostering awe can help us counterbalance the overstimulation of our digital lives, nurturing a renewed connection with ourselves, our communities, and the natural world. 🎧 We hope you enjoy the listen as much as we did! New episode just out 🎙️ What if we could make farming sexy again? 👨🏼🌾 In this episode, Ronny Eriksson talks to Philippe Birker, whose journey began in a small German farming town with roots that trace back to his grandmother’s 165-hectare farm 🌱 Philippe’s path led him from the electronic music scene to co-founding Stichting Love Foundation in 2013, a community of activists and artists spreading love, connecting people, and raising money for impact projects through cultural events. In our latest podcast episode, Philippe shares his personal journey through regenerative agriculture — exploring over 60 farms and learning from the ground up 🌳🍃 He talks about the groundbreaking work Climate Farmers is doing to build a resilient, sustainable food system across Europe, leveraging technology, ecosystem measurement, and innovative financial models to support farmers making the transition.
