𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 | 𝗧𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 Adithi Adhikari and Lakpa Chiring Lama conducted an experiment to detect the functional group present in a given organic compound. They employed various scientific techniques to identify the specific functional groups. Initially, they used elemental analysis to understand the basic composition of the compound. To confirm their findings used Tollens' test for aldehydes . By combining these methods, Adhikari and Lama successfully detected the functional group present in the organic compound. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 | 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 High School students showcased their talents on the 28th Mangsir in the Special Assembly hosted every Friday at the last week of the Nepali month. The performances awed the audience with poem recitations of students of Khumbila and dance performances of Rubina Thapa and Labisha Rai. The program was followed by award distribution by Mr. Madhusudhan Bhusal, Vice Principal of Academic Affairs, who distributed the award to Saiman Ghimire (First Prize in the All-Nepal Mathematical Modelling Competition) and Aditi Adhikari (DSSTalk Free Topic Session Finale Winner). Similarly, Mr. Ujjwal Poudel, Vice Principal of Administrative Affairs, distributed the award to Prayash Bhatt and Dikshant Pandey for winning second prize in Science Exhibition and first prize in Quiz Competition Held at Global School of Science. Finally, Ms. Sagina Maharjan the High School Head, gave a closing note highlighting the importance of maintaining good academics and praised the performances showcased by the highschoolers at Deerwalk Sifal Night. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 | 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 Aaron Singh, a Grade V student, provides an explanation of the various types of triangles, classified according to their sides and angles, under the guidance of Himal Parajuli. He outlines that triangles can be categorized into three types based on their sides- equilateral, isosceles and scalene. Also into three types based on their angles- acute, right, and obtuse.
