Job Description (JD): We are looking for an experienced and innovative Head of Short-Form Content and Editorial Leadership to lead and scale our short-form content team.  This role involves managing a team of editors and content creators to deliver high-quality, engaging short-form content that resonates with our audience and aligns with current trends. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, content consumption patterns, and emerging trends in short-form content. Key Responsibilities:  • Lead the creation, strategy, and execution of short-form content across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and others.  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to ensure content is fresh, engaging, and aligned with platform algorithms.  • Manage a team of editors and content creators, providing guidance, feedback, and leadership to ensure consistency and quality across all content.  • Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and influencer management teams to align content strategies with brand goals.  • Oversee the editorial calendar, ensuring content is produced and published on time, adhering to brand voice and audience needs. Job Specifications (JS): Qualifications & Experience:  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory if there is relevant experience).  •5+ years of experience in short-form content creation, social media, or digital media, with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role.  • Proven track record of creating engaging short-form content that aligns with current trends on platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.  • Strong understanding of content algorithms, platform-specific nuances, and emerging trends in social media.  • Experience in managing teams, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a creative and positive team environment. Skills & Competencies:  • Exceptional storytelling and creative content skills.  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading a team of editors or content creators.  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and use it to optimize content strategies.  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.  • Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail and consistency. Additional Qualities:  • Passion for short-form video creation and social media culture.  • Ability to inspire and lead a creative team with a hands-on approach.  • Strong understanding of content monetization strategies.
