About us

It is a targeted program for poor initiated by the government of Nepal through the issuance of "Poverty Alleviation Fund Ordinance 2060 (2003)" and subsequently "Poverty Alleviation Fund Act 2063 (2006)". PAF is concern with reaching out to the poor and excluded communities. The 12 members governing board, chaired by the Prime Minister, is responsible for policy guidance and program approval.
