AROA™ is pleased to highlight a recent study by Dr Anthony N Dardano, Iakov Efimenko, MD; Taylor Florio, MD; Monali Mahedia, MD; and Andrew M. Klapper, MD, which explores the innovative use of Myriad in the management of facial and scalp trauma. Titled “Rapid Revascularization Following Application of Ovine Forestomach Matrix Graft in Complex Facial and Scalp Trauma," the study demonstrates the successful application of Myriad Matrix™ to enhance tissue perfusion and promote healing in soft tissue defects. The findings showed positive outcomes in both cases: one patient achieved near complete epithelialization in just 7 weeks, while the other progressed to a split-thickness skin graft for final closure. Importantly, both patients experienced smooth recovery with no graft-related complications. After participating in the NZTE Trade mission to Brazil, AROA’s Director of International Sales, Patrick Hunt visited Chile, to attend the launch of AROA products into the Chilean market. Together, Patrick and the team from distribution partner Mediplex S.A.  introduced AROA ECM technology to leading Chilean Surgeons and Nurses, who were interested to learn about the benefits. Patrick Hunt, PhD, MBA says: “On behalf of AROA, I would like to express heartfelt thanks to NZTE Trade Commissioner,  Kate Moran , Erwin Tapia Mella, The New Zealand Ambassador to Chile, daniela rigoli, Founder of Mediplex, Raúl Mena, as well as CEO Alfredo Finger and Mediplex team members Mariel Reyes Nova and Alejandro Meza whose considerable support were crucial to the success of this event.

The team recently celebrated Diwali (the festival of lights) at AROA HQ, New Zealand. Diwali is one of the most popular festivals of India – which is celebrated by the Indian community across the world. Diwali gets its name from the original Sanskrit expression “Deepavali” – meaning row of lights. The idea is that lighting diya's, lightens up our lives and brings good into it whilst driving out negative or dark auras. A huge thanks to everyone who participated in this event to make it a special one and the organizing committee for all their efforts.
