Could the sound of your voice signal your mental state, a brain injury or even the early onset of a disease like Parkinson's or Alzheimer's? Artificial intelligence software being developed by Auckland University of Technology Associate Professor Samaneh (Sam) Madanian alongside a team of international researchers could help clinicians do just that. Sam spoke to Newsroom NZ & RNZ's Davina Zimmer for The Detal Podcast - you can listen to the episode here: https://lnkd.in/gQUP5TpS

Atlassian software engineers - #alumni Bob Liou and Hajin Kim gave a great presentation today, about their roles, the variety of tools they work with, and the customer base they serve. It was evident how much they enjoy what they do! #Softwareengineering is certainly their passion! They are fantastic ambassadors for their organisation. Students were provided with a lot of helpful tips to help them succeed in joining Atlassian. Great to have you both on-campus and we look forward to working more closely with Atlassian going forward. Also good to hear your comments about how important project work while studying is, in advancing opportunities post uni!

Sandfield – providing #software that gives you an edge - thankyou for visiting us on-campus, hosting you was a pleasure. We enjoyed hearing about this Ponsonby based software consultancy - a heavy emphasis on custom software solutions, with a skilled & specialised workforce. Computer science students learnt about Sandfield’s key teams and areas; supply chain software; integration services (the black magic team!); “develop from a blank canvas” team; and the #enterprise financial management system specialists. Great to have our Auckland University of Technology #alumni Logan Martlew and Shania D'Cruz present, along with Joseph C. #supplychain #integrationservices #softwaredevelopers #computerscience
