  • With great sadness, we acknowledge the passing of father, grandfather, son, colleague, and friend Paul “Shaver” Galletta.     Shaver lived his life in the service of others. He was selfless, caring, kind and generous with his time to help those around him. He will be sorely missed by all those who were lucky enough to have known him. A celebration of his life will happen on Wednesday 27 November at FMG Stadium Waikato, timings to come. Once A Chief, Always A Chief ❤️💛🖤

  • Three and a half years ago the Chiefs were introduced to Xentrix founder and Director Julian Phillips. Julian, a previous CIO with Gallagher, (our men’s team naming sponsor) had developed an organisation active engagement programme and assessment tool that enabled us to start examining and measuring our off-field performance (namely staff engagement and productivity) in addition to the traditional on field performance measures associated with sport and performance.   Fast forward three years, we are now using the Xentrix programme across the organisation where it has enabled us to link the boardroom to the field. This includes: Organisation Pulse Checks to assess our organisations health and staff engagement Our own performance competency matrix to guide strategy Team in-season and post-season reviews for the Gallagher Chiefs, Chiefs Manawa and the University of Waikato Men’s U20’s team Staff performance/stay interviews    In addition to Xentrix’s Active Engagement Methodology, the value proposition to the Chiefs lies in Xentrix’s ability to provide us with bespoke solutions to our performance management requirements. Unlike other programmes and tools on the market, we have the ability to apply benefits realisation methodology to our processes to ensure we apply and prioritise our key learnings. The platform’s built in AI functions and Power Bi plug-in has supercharged the quality and timeliness of our report generation and has significantly reduced back-end work analysing and collating data and results. Assessment results are immediate and benchmarked to ensure we are accountable for change and performance impact and that we focus our time and energy where it really matters.   If you’re wanting to make step-change, we’d encourage you to reach out directly to Julian or to check out www.xentrix.org  - what’s exciting for us is while we’ve already seen tangible benefits to performance, we’re only just scratching the surface……..
